Ofsted will be arriving at Notton House Academy this morning to undertake an inspection of our residential care provision. They will be with us for three days.
Staff and pupils are now focusing on the Far East and Asia. Pupils in Oak class have chosen to learn more about Japan. Nathan, one of our learning facilitators, clearly loves the native clothing!
We have responded to pupil voice, and our ASD learners have asked for a new classroom in a new location. They now have their own ICT suite, bespoke classroom, and sensory garden.
Lower school residential area has been updated this half term with fresh paint to the walls of Courtyard lounge, kitchen, and dining room. Thank you to the site team!
The music room has been relocated to the main education block making it more accessible to students. Jess, our engagement worker, will be using this space to help some young people learn a new skill.
Ollie, Gage Graphics, has worked his magic to fill some empty spaces, and also, add a splash of colour to the door of the education block. He also managed to touch up a few paintings in care areas.
